WANNA KNOW THE FACE BEHIND THE BLOG?

Hey you, welcome to my blog *huge smile*. I’m Jasmine (pronounced Jaz – min). Founder, content creator and chief-editor of e-Volving Tales by Jasmine. I’m also a Physiotherapist who lives in arguably the largest city in West Africa- Ibadan, Nigeria. In addition to that, I obtained my degree from College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, so, I guess you could call me an “Ibadan Girl” *smiling*. When I’m not saving lives, I’m blogging, modelling or overthinking. I started blogging as a hobby in 2016 after so much encouragement from a very good friend of mine and blogger (Geenie of Life with Geenie) who read a few pieces written by me. I’ve always loved writing for as long as I can remember so it was not so difficult at first, until I realized blogging entailed so much more than just writing. Since then, things have evolved. I’ve been able to discover my niches and realize where my passion lies…

HAIR CARE

I’m a natural hair enthusiast and I have been on my natural hair journey for 3 years. I decided to transition because my hair begun breaking a lot in addition to having stunted growth from the minute I started relaxing. This is not to say you cannot have a healthy relaxed hair. I believe you only reap where you invest in, therefore, to have beautifully healthy hair, you’ll have to invest in it. On the journey to learning to care for my natural hair (as well as other hair types), I’ve learnt a lot and I’m still learning about hair care, which I’ll be sharing on here for anyone who might benefit. I’ll also share reviews on hair products to serve as a guide for your purchases. I love seeing people with beautiful hair and I’d gladly help in any way I can, which is what brought about the production of Hair Oil Melange-an oil mixture containing specially selected carrier oils.

SKIN CARE

My love for beautiful and healthy skin must have started before I was conceived. That’s an obvious exaggeration but I hope you get the point *he he*. I’m caramel in complexion with very sensitive, acne-prone skin that gets sunburnt easily, which makes maintaining my complexion and finding products that are compatible with my skin a herculean task. Over the years, I’ve come in contact (literally) with a lot of skin care products and DIYs, with the hope of finding the perfect set of products and routine for my skin. I’m still on the quest to discovering my “skinmate” products, so journey with me as I review products, share DIYs and tips to attaining a flawless skin that will have heads turning.

RELATIONSHIPS

Relationships are essential in life and cannot be overlooked. Ranging from dating to friendships, I’ve had my share of bad relationships and have grown through them. These has altered my attitude to relationships and life in general in spite of being an unwavering romantic. I’d be sharing my experiences and opinion on interesting topics that revolve around relationships, love, marriage, men and friendships. Stick around, you never know what you might discover.

HEALTH

A lot of people are unaware of the importance of Physiotherapy especially in these parts of the world. As a matter of fact, majority of Nigerians are of the perception that Physiotherapy is either about massage or broken bones. I will be sharing enlightening and educating posts concerning Physiotherapy as well as beneficial information on health in general. I can assure that you’ll be coming back for more.

FICTION

Are you a fiction lover? Are you bored of reading novels with the same storyline over and over? Then get ready for suspense-filled and intriguing posts. I’ll feature short stories and excerpts written by myself and other talented guest writers.

LIFESTYLE

Interesting posts about my lifestyle, interests, modelling gigs and anything that tickles my fancy will be shared on this blog. Also, I will share my life experiences and struggles in general, laced with loads of inspiration with the hope that it will reach out to someone and make them realize they are not alone. I understand how it feels to find something that you can relate to on so many levels and I hope you find that on my blog.

I’m so happy you are here. I look forward to having you on board as we journey through life together and everything in between.
